Eric Poutot :

After more than 25 years experience in French & international culinary high level hotel restaurants, Eric Poutot is coming to upscale Maritim Hotel Mauritius. Highly professional, passionate and creative, Eric learned in several parts of the world different styles of cooking & won various culinary competitions.

Eric owned his fine dining restaurant for 7 years near Paris and successfully appeared in different famous guides. His philosophy: Each dish must convey an emotion with a mention of its name at the last bite. Offer clients authentic and creative cooking for buffets and banquets up to 1000 guests.

He likes to exchange feedback with all guests to constantly improve his standards.

 

Rakesh Manoruth :

With 20 years of career in Gourmet restaurant Rakesh Munoruth is now taking his upscale dining experience to the fine dining restaurant “Chateau Mon Désir” at MARITIM Hotel Mauritius.

• Highly experienced culinary professional with an extensive background that spans every aspect of the industry from directing fine dining to managing the production of cuisine for up to 1,000 guests. Rakesh has also shared his culinary art experience with 3 Star Michelin Chefs like Franck Mischler, Harald Wohlfahrt, Lutz Niemann, Florian Neumann, etc...

Rakesh’s gastronomic philosophy is to offer to his guests authentic dishes in which the essence of the ingredients is given pride of place. His primary focus is to create one of a kind fine dining experiences in total comfort. The outcome of his cuisine is remarkably unpretentious and honest, yet luxurious and elaborated with passion and flair
